Following on from my last post, here's another blanket I made. I wanted a more muted blanket to go in our living room, I love the pink one but it doesn't really go with our green walls! So I made this cream one. Ridiculously simple, just a giant granny square and I made it in super chunky yarn so it crocheted up nice and fast. I might add a few more rounds to it as it could do with being a little bit bigger, but it just about makes a lovely snuggly lap blanket.
It also happens to be Roxy's favourite blanket - see below for (way too much!) photographic evidence!
Lovely photo's and nice blanket, looks like it's going to be well used.
ReplyDeleteHopefully! It's so nice to see it being well loved :)
DeleteYour dogs are so cute! Nice blanket, I wish I had your skill! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet of you to say, but really if I can do it, anyone can! This is probably the easiest thing to crochet in the world too haha :)
DeleteWhat an adorable pup, and nice blanket too :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)

ReplyDeleteThe double stitch is similar to the alternate stitch, but instead of making two single crochets in one stitch, it spans two stitches. Insert your crochet hook in the stitch to be worked, wrap the yarn over it so you pull back a loop, then insert the crochet hook into the next stitch. project linus blanket instructions
