Yesterday was my husband's 30th birthday. I baked him a cake, bought him presents, decorated the house and tried to make it feel special for him. He's not big on birthdays, and he kept asking me why I was making such a fuss of him. I kept telling him that it's because I'm so very grateful for the day he was born. Without it, and without him, I wouldn't have such a wonderful man, a man who is my absolute rock and who has been there for me every moment since we first met.
So happy birthday Adam! I love you, and here's to entering our thirties. It will be our decade, I can just feel it.
