Last week, I shared this little knitted bunny that I made my cousin for Easter. Well, I also made her sister something, too! I'm not brilliant on a sewing machine; in fact, I'm very wonky as you can see. I haven't sewn an awful lot - I did GCSE textiles way back when and only got a D, and I've done some sewing since but mainly in the form of a patchwork blanket with nice, easy straight lines. I want to do more sewing, but I thought I'd practice on the small stuff first! I didn't use a pattern as such, but I drew a rough idea of what I wanted it to look like in photoshop. I printed it out and used that as my pattern pieces.

I lined it with some pink floral fabric I had on hand, and I know it's far from perfect but I actually kind of love it, and my cousin did too! First ever time sewing a zip as well.

(Although it might have helped that I stuffed it with Easter sweets before I gave it to her! ;)
