Some of the highlights of our trip:

  • Adam and I had been to Mexico for a kind of belated honeymoon last year, and it was so special to be able to go back with my Mum and sisters. It was my first proper trip abroad with them, and it was so much fun.
  • Swimming with turtles at Akumal Bay. Adam and I had swam with them before, but it was still amazing. Hearing the excitement in my sister's voices every time we spotted one and we even saw a really young one!
  • Afternoons spent with Adam just floating in the pool and making plans for our life. I never think as clearly as I do when I'm in a pool with the sun on my face.
  • A sunrise walk on an empty beach with my husband on my 29th birthday
  • Mexican food and strawberry margaritas

    Mexico, I already miss you and I hope I can come back soon.
